Pros and cons of iGotYou app for iPhone and iPad

iGotYou app good for

At first I couldnt figure out how to have it email me the picture and location but after emailing tech support they messaged me the day after and were very helpful in helping me out. Now Im able to get the email with the pictures and location and the app workings amazing. Would definitely recommend! Thanks rony for the help!!!!
Does motion detection, alarms, take picture & location info, uploads and e-mails alerts to you. The app has to be kept in the foreground for the picture taking to work properly. It does do most of what it claims. May save your phone. This program was in the news @ telegraph.co.uk too bad they quoted the wrong app name igotya. Main reason why I tried the app. It woks.

Some bad moments

I thought it was for if someone tried to open the phone using a passcode too!! I dont need it for any of this other stuff. I dont ever purposely set my phone on the table and walk away! Why would I do that? And if I accidentally do it, I wouldnt set the alarm first! This makes no sense! Why did I buy this? I dont want it now!
Working good but i dont get ani email when i test it. Just keepin the photo in my iPhone .. Thanks
They ask for your email password for no good reason. Its definitely a scam to get your online information.
I have just discovered away to over pass this program when it is locked by it. Easy switch the iPhone off and then on. So, it is worthy at all to buy it,,,,, I feel sorry for my money. But in general the idea of it, it is really good.
It works with major problems. For it to work you will have to disable your "Passcode Lock." When iGotYou is activated it gives the impression that the "Passcode Lock" is activated. If you enter the wrong code, the alarm will activate (if on) and your picture is taken. The culprit will know this by the camera sound and visual lens which cannot be turned off. My picture was sent to my email junk file. Great pic!!! The culprit only has to press the square "Home" button and presto, your phone is open. All your Apps are there and your phone and Internet ready to go. Hello Tokyo!!! The culprit can use your phone then toss it. Great having the pic but if its a stranger, good luck identifying him (or her). I dont know about you but I want to be able to catch the culprit, protect the use of my phone and get it back. I use "Find iPhone" which works great. I only wish it took the picture.
Good idea but it doesnt send the pic or location to my email.. That makes it kinda useless, being that Id somebody stole my phone, Id have to get it back before I could see the photo of them -_-
